Reporting to the Managing Director, the incumbent will ensure that monthly targets are achieved as per targets set by the Company.

As the Accountant you will be responsible for (under the guidance of your line manager):

Responsibilities:

  • Support period end processes
  • Support the production of the Group’s statutory financial statements
  • Support the Financial Accounting team in all day to day financial accounting processes
  • Updating the fixed asset register, balance sheet reconciliation, and completion of returns for the Regulator or our lenders
  • Prepare financial journals for review
  • Analyse financial and non-financial records
  • Undertake cash flow monitoring
  • Prepare account reconciliations for review
  • Operate with transparency and ensure excellent record keeping for audit trail
  • Assist others teams within finance on an ad hoc basis
  • Carry out administrative tasks, filing and other ad hoc duties

Qualifications and skills:

  • SAP experience and knowledge
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required
  • Minimum of 2 years of current professional hands-on accounting experience
  • Minimum of 2 years prior General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Financial Statement preparation experience.

  • Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in Excel

Reporting to the Managing Director, the incumbent will ensure that cash collections for the month is achieved as per set targets of the Company.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve at least 95% collections as per monthly target.
  • Ensure that customer’s notification of amounts due is sent out immediately the debt fall due.
  • Apply credit control procedures on accounts based on the age overdue amount as well as contract terms.
  • Maintain daily monitoring tracker for collections and escalate risk accounts.
  • Ensure that the assigned portfolio DSO is maintained within company acceptable range of 60 to 90 Days.
  • Monitor daily receipts allocation for assigned portfolio and ensure that accounts credit position is up to date at the end of each working day.
  • Prepare weekly forecasts of anticipated collections.
  • Setting up of terms and conditions of credit.
  • Managing sales ledger.
  • Continuously verifies accuracy of debtors ageing of the Company to ensure that no inaccurate customer exposure is presented at any point.
  • Provide monthly performance monitoring reports.

Qualifications and skills:

  • SAP experience and knowledge
  • Two to three years in credit control management related assignment
  • Outstanding attention to detail with an ability to reconcile complex accounts
  • Accurate, efficient and organised with the ability to prioritise tasks as needed

Reporting to the General Manager, the incumbent will join our sales team and serve as a point of contact for customers with queries about products, orders and deliveries and provide support for sales representatives. You should be able to contribute to high quality customer service and achieve sales targets.

 Responsibilities

  • Process orders via email or phone
  • Check data accuracy in orders and invoices
  • Contact clients to obtain missing information or answer queries
  • Liaise with the Logistics department to ensure timely deliveries
  • Maintain and update sales and customer records
